Insekten im Bett

Die Nähe zur Stadt und der junge hilfsbereite Mann an der Rezeption.

Wir haben ein Cabrio Zimmer gebucht mit Bad. Beim Einchecken auf dem Bett ein Insekt....weg gemacht, kann passieren habe ich gedacht. Als wir am Abend aus Metz kamen und uns auf das Bett legten , schrie meine Frau plötzlich auf..... Über das ganze Bett und an der Wand viele kleine und große Insekt/Schaben......ekelig!!!! Bin sofort runter zur Rezeption, der junge man kam mit aufs Zimmer und sah die Tiere. Wir bekamen ein anderes Zimmer ohne Badezimmer 😞 , sollte dann im Zimmer 301 mit den Kakerlaken Duschen......sehr umständlich und nicht was wir wollten! Mitten in der Nacht dann wieder etwas im Bett in Zimmer 313. Um 3.30 Uhr haben wir das Hotel verlassen und die Nacht um Auto außerhalb von Metz auf einem Parkplatz verbracht. Das bezahlte Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt, das Downgrate auf eine schlechter Zimmer nich zurückerstattet bekommen. Eine wirklich schlechte Erfahrung. Zudem waren viele Männer einer Baufirma dort untergebracht , was esnoch unangenehmer für meine Frau machte. Gutes Konzept, aber leider nicht zu empfehlen.

The room was small but clean, there was free parking and walking distance to the centre. A bit scary at night, but with no bad experience. Easy reachable from the highway. The staff was very helping to offer us some breakfast - there was some misunderstanding with not/ordering it.

The room was very small but sufficient, with a wash-basin. The toilets were not clean at the evening. We have asked for the two close rooms, but they were in different floors and wings of the building. The children were happy for it, me not.

Avoid at all costs

Nothing.

There were bed bugs in the beds. The room was tiny. The shared toilets didn't have toilet seats. The room didn't lock and could be opened from the outside. Have contacted for a refund and not had a reply.

Only worth staying if on a budget

It was cheap, the staff were nice and overall the room was ok.

The staff couldn't find our booking in the system which was a bit of a worry (though this was eventually fixed). The showers and toilets were very dirty (both in the morning and evening). The hotel was quite far from any public transport connection (around a 10 minute walk along a dual carriageway to the nearest bus stop). There were only two small pillows for the double bed. And the room didn't smell very nice. There was also no air conditioning so the room was extremely hot.

For this price was ok.

The bed was quite big and comfortable, the location and the free parking was really nice and useful.

The door was broken and not very stable. The bathroom is extremely small and everything there have to be renewed or at least fixed. All is working properly, but looks like heavily used and is not stable at all..

The person at the reception kept trying to help me do the self check-in because i was facing problem completing the check-in and he was very helpful although I didn’t speak french and he didn’t speak English but he did his best to make it work. It was very cold at the night I arrived and I appreciate his help. He guided me to the room and made sure I was able to open it because I also was facing a problem unlocking the door xD wasn’t my day xD

I couldn’t find a taxi from different apps I use to take me in the morning to the train station and I missed the train because of this :/ and there didn’t seem to be any close public transportation either.

Far beyond expectaion

Before I checked in, I googled this hotel and got terrible feedback from previous travellers. I was so regretful about booking this hotel for budget reasons. But after I checked in, I found this hotel far beyond my expectation. The facility is new and clean, and the staff are friendly. The public toilet and washroom were also in good condition. I guessed they hired someone to clean them. Based on what I have paid, this hotel is an excellent choice.

1) If you are alone and will check in at night, call an uber to drive you to the hotel. If you choose to walk to the hotel, you will be on a poorly lit road next to the highway. I was terrified afterwards because it was dangerous for a solo traveller. 2) Take some cash; otherwise, you won't be able to purchase the towel in the auto sale machine.

It is F1, that says all. Shared toilets and shower, long distance to a center, oriented to the driving, not walking, folk.

seems to be the cheapest option in Metz, and my room was clean, if small.

bed was comfortable, staff were nice. They upgraded me from a room with a shared bathroom to a room with my own bathroom for no extra cost, and were generally pleasant.

The room was very small, there was no desk, it was quite warm at times. The location wasn't great since I had to walk up and down and over highways and railroad tracks to get anywhere. Also, the sound of the train throughout the day was quite loud, as were the trucks parked outside.

The location is the only positive thing I can think of because the hotel is located at walking distance (approximately 30 minutes) from the city centre.

Terrible smell of cigarette smoke ingrained in the walls and furniture of the room. After staying for one night, all my clothes and bags smelled like cigarette smoke. Didn't try the shower because it looked very unhygienic.

I guess I got what I paid for, but it wasn't super comfortable

the bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. I booked a room that had a shared bathroom, but they upgraded me to a room with a private bathroom for free. From what I saw comparing prices online, it seems like the cheapest available with separate rooms

the room was really tiny, and it didn't come with any soap and just one roll of toilet paper. It's located right next to the freeway and railroad tracks, so there was often traffic noise. Also, you had to walk through a labyrinth of massive motorways just to get to the nearest grocery stores

The typical F1 Hotel scam. ‘You can always check in’. The forget to mention if you bring your card. I arrived at 23.00 (as mentioned before via email), there was no staff, no helpdesk, no answer neither the day after. 80€ (2 rooms!) spend on nothing.

paid for the room, was supposed to arrive at 22:00. it turns out after 21:00 without a credit card you can not go. the card was not physically with me. immediately called, asked to cancel the payment, the request received a negative response. it turns out the number is paid - but you can not get into it. I will never go here again. And in general, I was here once - the conditions are terrible. booked again as the hotel is on the road. I do not recommend.

nice clean rooms, toilets ok, not good kitchen

nice clean rooms, decorations of the hostel were nice considering its a cheep hostel, TV in the room, obviously new bathrooms, the man on the reception let me leave my luggage during the whole day in the hostel without any charge after my check out in the morning

I choose this hostel because of ,,amenities for preparing tea and coffee,, written in the description but there was just a machine with tea and coffee where I had to pay, dirty microwave, obviously not cleaned for long time, i was affraid of the dirt and the grease falling from the top into my tea, man on the reception was not present when I came, I had to wait for about 20 minutes, than I decided to search for him on my own, quite expensive considering its not in the city centre, the location is not so nice, no toilet brush

I like nothing about the hotel. I booked and paid online on getting there,there was nobody to attend to us,we even tried calling their number but the phone was ringing right in our presence but no one to pick. With due respect,i want my money back

I made the reservation twice and i was debited twice. Please refund me back my money 109€ is not a small money though

Very basic but also inexpensive. Beware of being charged for extra nights you don’t actually stay.

Being charged by F1 for two nights when I only stayed for one night. How does this happen?! Thank goodness that my credit card company took care of the over charging!

Absolutely nothing

Room was not cleaned from previous guest. Dirty bed linnen still on the bed, full garbage can and terrible smell of urine
