Location was ideal, for us. Room, facilities & breakfast were paerfectly adequate.
This is the 2nd time, a year apart, that we have stayed here, & the decline is noticeable! Many parts of the hotel now require some renewal/refurbishing, in my opinion. Most things are still fine, but the heavy traffic through the hotel (it's popular!) is wearing it out at an increasing rate, it seems.

Rooms were a little dated but clean, no restaurant which was disappointing but options near by, all staff spoke English

Location close to motorway for travelling south.
Plenty of parking.
Friendly personnel at reception.
Really only suitable for spending the night en-route
