Such a beautiful and clean apartment and so much to do within a couple of minutes of exiting the building.

Close to all visiting places. Bed was great and comfortable. Clean place. Clean towels every day. Size of the room is amazing.
Is noisy until late in night. Around 1-2 am stops.
The upstairs doesn't feel safe so we avoided to stay on the couch.
Keep is mind that is more like B&B not hotel with buffet for breakfast.

The location was great.
Breakfast was very poor, with no fresh pastries, everything was wrapped in foil.
Check-in: I received an email from Booking stating, "The hotel is paid and waiting for you on Sunday, July 7th." I didn't receive any email from Dei Medici Palace. Upon arrival, the door was locked, the doorbell was unresponsive. The phone didn't answer. A few minutes later, I received a message. To ensure your stay is more enjoyable and independent, everything is self-serviced. After sending photos of my documents, I received the codes to open the door. All this took almost half an hour, sitting with my suitcases on the concrete entrance to the "palace" door. We should have received information about check-in conditions in an email from the hotel, but we didn't.
Breakfast: According to the description, we were supposed to receive "Exceptional Italian Breakfast. Highly rated by recent guests: 10.0." In fact, each guest receives one small, shrink-wrapped roll, one 25g jam, yogurt, and small shortbread cookies. A terrible breakfast compared to other tourist hotels, even budget ones in Italy.
The rooms in the photos are true palace interiors. Photos taken 30 years ago or enhanced by artificial intelligence. The reality is likely 30 years without renovation.
