Great place to stay in Bantry. Very close to centre of town and great price.

Host was lovely even with a last minute booking was so accommodating. Room had an amazing view. Room and beds very comfortable. Spotless. Breakfast was lovely.

Very pleasant, lovely host, very clean and great breakfast. Thank you.

The breakfast was first class and the cup of tea on arrival was something else. Our host was a lovely lady with a beautiful smile. The only down side was it was difficult to find but we got there and would without a shadow of a doubt stay there again and I would highly recommend it. Very nice indeed.

This is a great spot - peaceful yet in close range to Bantry and Glengarriff. The perfect host.

Stunning views and great hosts !

Siobhan and Val were lovely hosts , made us feel very welcome .

Personally I don’t like scrambled eggs cooked in the microwave , or white sliced bread toasted… the brown bread was lovely but wasn’t toasted ?

Exceptional

The owners were very friendly and chatty, they give us a few tips for our road trip. The food was delicious, we also got some gluten and dairy free options. The location is grand, a lot of nice views. Also, they have a pony, dog and a few other animals there to keep you company.

Highly Recommend

Siobhan was a wonderful, thoughtful hostess who couldn't do enough for us. Covid precautions were all adhered to safety. The breakfast was perfection and food was locally sourced where possible which we love. The views were absolutely amazing! We were in a separate room with it's own front door which was perfect for us. And we had access to our own outside seating area with the fabulous views. We also had a dining table and chairs with tea/coffee making facilities which was super during Covid restrictions... This B&B is just off the main Bantry to Glengarriff road, an excellent location. Wifi was good throughout the property. Extremely happy customers:)

The small tv was awkward to watch The lack of heat in the lovely bathroom could be an issue in colder weather

We all had a great time! The entire place is spotlessly clean, the view from our room was amazing, breakfast had TOO much food, including superb homemade granola and jam and most of all, the owner made us all feel welcomed and was exceptionally nice. Kids and parents concluded its a shame we only stayed one night...

Perfect little spot for a staycation

La Mirage is a lovely B&B that overlooks the bay. The location is optimal to reach both Bantry and Glengarriff. Siobhan and her husband were very welcoming and ready to help. It was also comforting to see that all measures anti-Covid were in place, making us feel very safe. We had a lovely time and would love to go back.

Nothing, we just wish we could have stayed longer.

Truthful countryside experience

We went on a road trip from Dublin to West Cork Country and we found La Mirage B&B one of the best places to stay at. The place itself is well located, very cozy and charming and the hostess is a lovely lady, quite friendly, helpful and willing to give all kind of tips about the places to visit and where to eat. We also need to say that the breakfast is quite good and it tastes like the countryside - with many of the ingredients coming from the regions around
