The hostel delivers what it advertises, and I found it much better than other hostels around. Other places are way too crowded, with little space and bad odors while Paulina focuses on having ample spaces, a good breakfast included and clean facilities. I slept in the dorm with two other women that were here for work, and was able to sleep soundly. If you're traveling to Oaxaca and are looking for value without distractions of other hostels that bluff too much, I recommend Paulina. It's nice, spacious and comfortable. It has a huge rooftop!

We loved the breakfast and staff. Maria y Bicinia were great cooks and kitchen hosts.

The location is great, everything clean and friendly staff. The breakfast was simple but it was a nice touch. Usually there is a variation of eggs with bread/tortillas and you always get a little bit of fruits with a little little bit of yoghurt and a glass of juice. You can also take some granola, milk, coffee, tea and water.
I would recommend bringing some own vegetables, since there are none.
The room was NOT suitable for sharing it with others
I can't understand how in a shared room there was no option for a locker!! They even had 8 lockers in my room but didn't have keys to any of them and it was not possible to lock it with your own lock...
Also there was no door to the bathroom and the toilet and shower cabins were see-through... You can see in the picture how well you can see the heather through the glass. Both toilets didn't work that well.
I was lucky I only shared the room with one person, I can't imagine sharing it with more, you could hear everything from the bathroom
