Great, attentive staff. Our room was spacious. The breakfast was a pleasant experience. It's a good place to stay when in Brno, especially while travelling to Italy or somewhere else to the south.
The hotel probably has seen better days - some (but only some minor) things happen to be quite old or have been creatively adapted to meet modern needs (e.g. air conditioning, design, windows). It was extremely hot outside (more than 40 degrees Celsius; the hottest part of the year) - the AC was just enough to survive - as an apology, we received a bottle of wine. Staff - awesome!

The room was clean, the staff friendly, and the breakfast adequate. It met my expectations.
The area surrounding the hotel is somewhat outdated and poorly maintained. It's not a nice part of Brno.
