It was lovely and charming, tidy and clean and situated in a beautiful part of Donegal. I loved that it was quiet and peaceful and our hosts made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to make sure we had a lovely stay. There was great selection of healthy and delicious food at breakfast and our host made us eggs too, cooked to perfection! There was plenty of tea and coffee in the room and fresh towels each day. Only a short drive to Donegal town which was very handy for having dinner.

The place was gorgeous — a beautiful house with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bedroom was cosy, comfortable and perfect for a good night’s rest, and the en-suite bathroom was spotless and surprisingly spacious.
As it’s a B&B, breakfast was also a lovely part of the stay. There was a great variety of options, with something for both sweet and savoury tastes, so it felt very easy to find something you liked.
The hosts were lovely, friendly and very helpful with recommendations for the area. We were also given a map of Donegal when we arrived, which turned out to be really useful during our trip.
Nothing in particular — we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
