Best value for money to visit Sapporo for a short stay!

Conveniently located right in front of the metro station. Spotless and very cozy. Friendly staff: we expedited a luggage from our previous location and the owner lifted it up to our room located in the last (fifth!) floor without asking. Double room was comfortable and fairly big. Kitchen was well equipped!

A cozy common area. Spacious private room. Clear labelling of the recykling bins (which in general we found confusing in Japan)

There is no lift and the room is on the 4th floor - not a problem for us but mind this if you have lots of heavy luggage. We found the upper bunk bed a bit unsafe with hoge gaps between the railings.

Great location with silence

Quiet location with convenience.

The ventilation is poor at the restaurant on 1/F, so the smell of cooking can be smelt even on 5/F. More Showers and toilets would be great.

The hostel was stylish, clean and had a great bookshop and café on the ground floor. The beds allowed for privacy and comfort.

The bad air circulation and the bad design of the dormitory with a very tiny communal space. The strong smell of food with the greasy air coming from the restaurant on the ground floor made me so sick with rashes on my body. My eyes were so painful with the oily smoke from the restaurant. Nothing prevents from greasy air comes into the bedroom area via stairways as a chimney. It was impossible to have a good sleep. The room was also so stuffy. You can find how greasy the hostel by looking at the floor of the restaurant, stairways and floor inside of the dormitories.

Except for the smell, everything else is perfect

The space per person is bigger than expected, with cloth hangers inside. You could even stand up inside at one side of the bed.

Maybe because there is a restaurant on the first floor, the room on the 3rd floor (female dorm) smells slightly.

I had the private double room and it was great value. The best location. It was literally across the street from the local metro station. Only 2 stops from the main Sapporo JR station. Wonderful staff.

Not a big deal, but should be mentioned: no elevator. For those with heavy luggage, get ready.

Smashing expectations out of the park

Nice layout of rooms, Comfy beds, shower area was immaculate, staff extremely friendly and helpful.

Stairs, location was a little far from central sapporo but thats also reflected in the pricing well i believe

Location ❤️ rather big bed for dorm-type hostel, humble & helpful staff, match for light traveler, woody room: nice concept !

wifi connection was so poor, no hot water for in-room toilet, shower room not in the same floor with bedroom, no elevator might be tricky for heavy/big luggages, still so cold (early feb)

Very nice except the elevator situation.

the elevator shut down hours were just too long,very inconvenient, and annoying, especially since we have to carry our language down the stair and looked out by the door.

Everything. I would definitely stay here again!

Somebody didn't follow the hostel rules and took a shower at 6am which woke me up. It would be great if they could lock out the shower on the floors with dorms during the quiet time.

What a stylish, nice hostel. We were staying in a twin room, but even the dorm looked great with a lot of privacy and stylishly furbished. We unfortunately stayed only one noght, but we would gladly come back. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

i love how close it is to the train station so we didn't have to walk far with our luggages. There were not many people staying there when we went so its not too crowded. Recommended if you just want a place to crash while travelling

The people coming to that place should experience this nice place.

It was my first experience with untapped hostel. It was awesome. The room, bed, and cleanliness were very good. I would recommend the food to try for the newcomers, it was delicious.

Well, it is difficult to say what I didn't like because everything was well managed.
