Very good location as very near the North exit of Sapporo station. Breakfast Buffet is very good as well.

Superior king room was excellent in size. It met our needs. Convenient location and yet quiet. Daily housekeeping.
No onsen. The vending machine on our floor didn't work. There was coffee supplied but no milk.
The laundry washing machine was very competitive. TV has no English programs. No microwave in the room. Massage in the hotel is available only in the evening and is open for booking only on the day itself in the evening.

Good breakfast and close to the station
I stayed at Hotel Mystays Sapporo Aspen and had a disappointing interaction with a male staff member during check-in.
Earlier in the day I had left my luggage at the hotel and received a luggage code. When I returned later to collect it and check in, I walked past the automated check-in machines and headed toward the service counter.
A male staff member suddenly tapped my arm with one finger to stop me and said “Check in?” in an abrupt way. I found this interaction uncomfortable and impolite. Guests should not be physically touched to get their attention in a hotel environment.
I also noticed the same staff member speaking much more politely to a Japanese guest nearby, which made the situation feel unpleasant.
To the hotel’s credit, the front manager later contacted me to apologize and stated that staff should never touch guests and that the employee had been instructed regarding proper service standards. However, the interaction itself did not reflect the level of courtesy I would expect from a four-star hotel.
