Impressive new boutique property with many thoughtful touches, beautiful design (for those who like contemporary minimalist looks), & a marvelous, helpful team of staff. The property had just started welcoming guests ~ 5 months before our visit. Each apartment is spacious and occupies the floor. Ours could be a “smaller” one, because it’s on the ground floor that shares some space with reception. That said, it sleeps 8, & has all the amenities listed on Booking.com. Unlike many apartments we’ve stayed, they provided top-line bath toiletries + choice of 1 of 2 scents for the ensuite sauna (which we didn’t use). The kitchen amenities were excellent. Along with the usual kitchenware, there was a full roll of paper towel, a roll of plastic wrap & a roll of tin foils. The latter 2 were in a nice containers. The appliances are upscale quality. The microwave oven chimes a pleasant sound. The 1st day breakfast scones were delicious with the accompanying clotted cream & preserves. (An interesting but lovely British touch.). The apartment is about a 10-minute walk from the Sapporo Station as indicated on KAIDO’s site, depending on your pace & lights. For those with more than a carryon luggage, it might be more comfortable to use a taxi between the property & the Sapporo Station.
Lastly, our appreciation & kudos to two team members who went out of their ways to help us, despite some language barriers. Our spellings are probably incorrect: Kana & Hanna(?).
The place almost earned a perfect 10, except for a few (mostly minor & easily remedied) practical items. Though the apartment can accommodate 8, there weren’t hooks or towel bars even for 2 in the 2 baths. (This is not unusual but would have increased the convenience score.) The thermal cups for hot liquids are great, except they’re metal, which meant we couldn’t use them to reheat partially consumed beverages. The plates coordinated well with the kitchen design, except there’s sign that says don’t use them in the microwave oven. There weren’t additional microwave-safe plates either. We’d recommend adding or replacing the existing plates with microwave-safe ones. We were a little surprised that the 2 bottles of water were tiny (150 ml?). They’re designed to go in a pocket or purse. The kettle we got was quite small. It only makes about 2 cups at a time. We don’t know whether a larger one is offered for a larger group. We certainly hope so. Last point is not so easy to fix: the lighting in the kitchen looks really lovely, but the positions make it hard to see what’s in the cabinet. These are things that would make the property truly exceptional. Overall, we really like the property and our stay at KAIDO.

とても綺麗で静かでした。札幌駅からも近くて歩いて食べにいくことも出来る距離で利便性も高かったです。サウナもプライベートで気軽に使えるので、普段はサウナに入りませんが体験できて良かったです！また子どもたちも、また北海道へ行く際は「このホテルが良い！」と喜んでいました。子どもたちからすると２段ベッドも嬉しかったみたいです。
あえて言うならば、駐車場が近隣の提携パーキングになるので、荷物を下ろしたりするのに少し不便ですね。なお、提携パーキングまで徒歩で３分ほどでした。

체크인 전부터 이것저것 문의가 많았는데, 열심히 도와주신. 모습에 도착전부터 감사했습니다.
객실은 넓고 편했어요. 특히 주방 시설이 좋았는데, 룸에서 시간을 별로 못보내서 이용을 많이 못해서 아쉽고, 사우나를 즐길수 있었던 점은 어떤 호텔에서도 경험하지 못할 점입니다.
만약 아침 일찍부터 밤늦게까지 일정이 많으신 패턴이라면, 숙소를 제대로 누리기 어려워 아쉬울 수 있습니다.
조명이 은은하지만, 좀 어두웠어요. 디밍이 안되는건지, 저희가 사용을 제대로 못한건지 모르겠지만. 상황에 따라 밝게 조절도 된다면 더 좋았을듯.
공간이 그렇게 넓은데(특히 주방)비해, 안방이 너무 좁았어요. 그래서 침대가 한쪽벽에 붙어있다보니, 안쪽에서 자는 사람은 침대를 기어서 오르내려야 했어요.
그리고 거실쪽에 옷걸이 봉+옷걸이는 있지만
방이나 거실에 옷을 정리할 서랍이나 선반이 아예없어서, 2박하는 동안 수트케이스를 바닥에 펼쳐 놓고 이용해야 했습니다. 넓은 공간에 수납이 부족했어요.
가장 불편했던것은
성인4인 숙박으로, 2인은 침대사용, 나머지는 거실에 이불을 깔 공간이 있었는데,
어떻게 요, 베개, 이불에 커버가 하나도 안 씌워져 있는지.. 시트와 커버가 따로 준비되어 있어서 끼워서 쓰라는 뜻인지..너무 충격적이었어요. 일본 여러지방 호텔들 료칸 이용 많이 했는데, 많이 놀랐습니다. 원래는 투숙 인원만큼 잘 준비되는데, 저희 객실만 실수로 누락되었던 것이길 바랍니다.
힘들게 짐끌고 호텔에 도착해서 낑낑거리며 이불 커버를 씌우는 모습..이게 정말 맞습니까? 이런 리뷰가 하나도 없었는데, 저희만 경험한 것이길 바래요.
위치는 알고 선택한것이긴 하지만,
여행자는 짐 이 필수이고, 호텔은 편리함을 위해 머무르는곳인데, 호텔앞에는 택시나 차량이 정차를 못한다는 점이 좀 힘들었어요.

We love the spaciousness of this boutique hotel. Kids love the bunk beds, we love the interior, full kitchen amenities and especially a spacious separate place to do laundry. Staff greeted us readily whenever we walked into/out of hotel. Location is also 10mins walk from JR Sapporo west Gate station.
Perhaps it’s brand new so getting delivery by Uber to the hotel address was abit challenging. We had to picked up from the nearest end of the block. But this could improve as hotel gets more established.
Also, it would help to have iron and housekeeping tools for guests on the long stay, like us, to use pls 😁
