Dissapointing

Being able to have a log fire

Too remote. Stairs way too steep dangerous if taking a cup of tea up to the lounge. Microwave above head height, again very dangerous if removing hot food. Wooden floors everywhere so felt cold and not comfy. Could do with a rug or something to make it cosier.

The log fire was lovely and the cottage was wonderfully comfortable. Location was perfect for us, it's remoteness was a big selling point.
