Can imagine myself going back

Beautiful location, very fast wifi, spacious room (101) with a nice view thru the window. It's cool to think that Norway is on the other side of the river, with a 1 hour time difference.

Huzurlu Konaklama

Odanın boyutu ve temizliği harikaydı, çalışanlar güler yüzlü ve yardımseverdi. Otel o kadar sessiz ve huzurlu bir konumda yer alıyor ki daha uzun kalmak isterdim. Otelin 10 dakika kadar uzaklığından biraz da olsa kuzey ışıklarını görebildik, her şey için teşekkür ederiz.

Schöne Lage in der Natur

Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Natur, sehr ruhig, die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber. Das Auto kann direkt vor dem Hotel geparkt werden. Das Personal war freundlich.

Es gibt keinen Aufzug, wenn man ein Zimmer oben hat, das Gepäck musste über eine etwas vereiste, gewundene Treppe hochgetragen werden. Das Frühstück war etwas spärlich, aber in Ordnung.

Wonderful staff made our stay!

The staff made our stay, huge thank you to them! They were very warm and welcoming and made the stay exeptional. Had we known this beforehand, we would have stayed for longer!

Bis bald!

Das Superior Chalet war die beste Unterkuft auf unserer Reise durch Finnland und Norwegen. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis perfekt. Das Chalet ist super schön hergerichtet und Top ausgestattet. Wenn wir könnten hätten wir 20 Punkte dafür gegeben. Die Sauna im Zimmer ist ein absoluter Hammer. Wir hatten das Glück und sahen mitten in der Nacht die Nordlichter. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt! Wir waren auf unserer Flitterwochen Rundreise und fanden einen Champagner zur Feier im Zimmer. Mega Gastgeber! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

schöner Aufenthalt bei Rentieren zu Hause

modern eingerichtete Zimmer mit allem was man braucht wie Kaffee und Tee, geräumig und sauber. 2 km von utsjoki die man gut in 30 min laufen kann um über die Brücke nach Norwegen zu kommen 🙃. wir haben mehrere Ausflüge über die Unterkunft gebucht und gemacht und waren sehr sehr zufrieden. wenn man sich für Sami Kultur interessiert kann man hier viel sehen und erfahren. das Essen, Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut und lecker. zwei Abende hintereinander konnte man die Polarlichter beobachten. an der Unterkunft stehen Ski und Schneeschuhe frei zur Verfügung falls man möchte. die thermo Bekleidung und Schuhe bekommt man auch kostenlos zur Verfügung, was bei minus 26 grad für die Ausflüge ziemlich gut war. Mini Kritik die entweder der Bauweise des Hauses oder unseren Nachbarn von oben zu verschulden ist, dass man manchmal das Gefühl hatte, da laufen die Elefanten umeinander so laut haben die getrampelt. Aber man ist nur zum schlafen im Zimmer deswegen hat es uns wenig gestört. ich fand die Temperatur im Zimmer etwas kalt obwohl wir Thermostat auf Maximum gedreht haben. zum schlafen angenehm, tagsüber oder wenn man von der Kälte draußen reinkommt etwas zu kalt. wir haben auch die Sauna draußen einmal genutzt, schön mit Aussicht auf den Fluss. alles in einem kann ich die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Great room clean and cute, beautiful view, in a peaceful and calm place

Surprised of the comments of other people maybe there was a problem when we were here but the staff was really not welcoming, we thought we could book activities when we arrive but no one was available, the only person nice was the social media lady but was here only the night we arrive. So disappointed that is the first time we have this feeling to be unwelcome in Finland

One of the coolest places I have been locationwize

Location is in the middle of nowhere, driving around Utsjoki was fun, because there was nothing there. Hotel rooms are clean and breakfast offered sufficient

A Paradise in Utsjoki…. great hospitality & value for money!!!

Good location next to river Tenor, nice rooms with good heating facilities and the amazing hospitality of the host. it’s a family run resort and everyone who works there ensures that the guests are very comfortable. During our stay the temperature falls to -35 C. The host provided all the warm suits for us to enjoy all the activities. Chef Kimmo is awesome… activities are plenty and well arranged. Felt like HOME AWAY FROM HOME….. DEFINITELY A BEYOND 5 STAR EXPERIENCE 😀😀😀

Dramatic removed location, great views, serving up wonderful food all at very good value.

First off, I loved the location! It is removed, located about 3km walk on a slight rise out of town. You have a fell behind and across from you. Across from the hotel also is the river Tevo which separates Finland from Norway. It is a raw somewhat savage "far from the madding crowd" beauty up here. I did not want to leave. Highly recommend! Akso, the restaurant is fantastic. Best food had in Finland. Also the rooms very clean had huge windows to look out and view the beauty and the Northern Lights.

the restaurant did not open on Mon-Thurs due to low season. But the reception does not inform us in advance. We didn’t have anything to eat on the first day of arrival.

Nice place but they tried to cook us.

Hotel location is very nice, we had dinner in their restaurant twice and the food was delicious. Breakfast was very good as well and the staff was very nice and helpful. They can arrange for you many excursions and you can rent by them all winter equipment you need. Plus they have available an EV Charging Station.

The temperature in our room was 26 degrees Celsius. We complained at the reception about this boiling temperature but unfortunately they said they couldn’t do anything because the heating system is centralised. We asked them to give us the tool, through which we could, at least open the windows, but unfortunately they said they didn’t have it available. Moreover they told us that many guests are complaining that the temperature is too low instead. Anyhow, the point, as per my opinion, is that everybody has his own perception about temperature comfort level and in order to avoid any unpleasant stay of their guests, they should let their guests decide their own comfort and instal in each room a thermostat.

Best location in Finland for view the Northern Lights; in summer, good location for fishing, hiking, relaxing. Nice restaurant with river view terrace.

So far away for us. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed for dinner.

A great stay with a spacious room and excellent breakfast.

Breakfast was excellent, with a terrace overlooking the river. First time I saw doses of honey for coffee/tea ! Host was quite attentive and would regularly replenish the breakfast. Room was of a size that was absolutely comfortable, not too big and not too small. Toilet was big and well anointed, with everything as it should be. Also liked the system with a code to unlock the door, the parking where the car was just in front of the room (easy to load and unload) and then there were the reindeer who popped by to graze.

The help faucet was a bit leaky, which was causing a puddle inside the bathroom.

Perfect hotel in Utsjoki

A perfect place in Utsjoki. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the room, delicious meals and kindness of staff. I forgot a bracelet in my room and they sent it to me in another city in Finland (in the meantime I had moved). Thank you very much for all. We'll se again!

By the river with a good restaurant

Great location on the riverside. Silent and remote. The restaurant was nice. Didn't expect that as there are not many restaurants in such a remote part of Finland. The small sauna on the riverbank was a bit expensive but good. You can reach the wilderness hiking trails and fell's if you have a car.

Swimming was challenging because of the stones in the river bed :) But that's how Tenoriver is and should be.

Amazing place!

Omg, you shouldn’t think twice. This place is definitely awesome! We really had an unforgettable night that we can not explain by words, imagine stepping out from the sauna to the view of Norway while enjoying Aurora Borealis dancing for 5 hours, yes it was magical! Very clean and well equiped cabin right next to The River Teno. The staff were friendly. Perfect place to enjoy the beauty of Utsjoki! As i left my heart there, i promise to come back soon.
