I wish I have a home like this 😍

Super cozy place, the house is well renovated, well designed, comfy bed, well equipped with everything. The host also prepared us all the details we needed during our stay.

The check in procedure took us some time, plus moving the luggages up the stairs, but it can also be considered fun as we finally got the key after the "challenges". Can't do luggage keeping too.

Stylish comfortable and spacious apartment in great central location

This was a spacious comfortable and clean apartment in the city center with stylish decor. The beds were comfortable. Our host was responsive with our questions. I’d be happy to stay here again.

There were a few things that would have been nice to have a manual or instructions to save us some frustration - like the laundry machine and the safe. But it was nice to have laundry.

Deceptive entrance - but don't be discouraged.

Brilliant location in the centre of old Colmar. The flat's looks are lovely... once you get past the entrance in a fairly ugly 1950s block of flats; this backs onto a timber-framed 16th century house, which is where the flat actually is. A lot of space, and a very stylish and well-kitted new kitchen and bathroom; everything was super-clean and in excellent condition. The visible timber frame in the rooms is very nice and makes it look special. Facilities: fast, trouble-less wi-fi connection; comfortable beds - a bit on the soft side - and excellent shower/water pressure. The hosts are always available and quick to respond to queries - we had no problems at all, but we are sure that, had we needed any help, it would have come quickly.

The rooms were quite hot (outside it was 28 - 30 C), and the single, portable a/c unit is inadequate - not least because its heat output port cannot be safely fixed outside; a window needs to be left open, which makes any effort at cooling down the interior rather pointless. We ended up using it as a fan, and it wasn't very effective at that either. The "upstairs" sleeping space was very hot, and the only window was screwed shut; also, there is only one electrical socket upstairs, so it's a bit difficult even to plug in the fan, which has a very short cord. Parking is available on the street - if you are lucky, just outside the flat, otherwise a couple of minutes walk away, but you need to move the car every day (or leave it in an expensive underground garage).

This apartment looks as good in real life as it does in pictures, which is often not the case in my experience. I slept so well during my four nights here. The location is central yet very quiet. The apartment is well-equipped with everything you could want, like drip coffee and Nespresso machines, washer, air con unit, a large variety of lights to set your desired ambiance… I didn’t meet the host but received detailed instructions via WhatsApp the day before I was scheduled to arrive.

Colmar is beautiful and well worth visiting and our accommodation made our trip even better

The apartment was in a really good location very central and the directions to find it were excellent. The apartment was lovely and well equipped with good beds and bathroom facilities. We have enjoyed staying there and would recommend it!

Great Location, Beautiful Apartment

Great location, dozens of restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk. The host sent detailed arriving instructions. It was easy contact free access with a door code into the building and a key lock box for the apartment keys. It is a walk up apartment about 2 1/2 floors up. The host also sent several parking options. While the Booking.com listing states “on-site parking” there are only 5 on street metered parking spaces in front of the apartment and possibly a few others in the immediate neighborhood. There were no open spaces in front of the apartment upon our arrival but we were able to quickly unload our bags into the apartment and move our car to the recommended public Montaigne Verte pay garage. This very modern spacious clean underground garage is about a 10-12 minute drive due to the one way streets and pedestrian only zones but only a 5 minute walk back to the apartment. It is perhaps the nicest public garage we have parked in so far in almost three months of driving through Europe. The apartment itself is beautiful, clean, spacious, and well equipped. WiFi was excellent. Future guests should know that the air conditioner is a portable roll around unit with an exhaust hose that gets put out an open window. There was also a portable fan. Fortunately the evenings were not very hot during our stay. As we were only using one bedroom we put both the air conditioner and fan in the one bedroom. We would be happy to stay here again and recommend this apartment as a great place to stay in Colmar.

My only major dislike which prevents me from giving this property a 10 rating is their house rules which require removal of trash and recycling and stripping the bedding on day of departure. The trash container was on the ground level of the building however the community recycling containers are a few minutes away in a neighborhood square. I would expect these housekeeping chores to be handled by the the host or their staff, not their guests

A very welcoming home, we loved the space we had, enjoyed overlooking the main shopping pedestrian street— can be noisy

Spacious and airy, well appointed furniture, excellent mattress, nice bedding with cotton sheets and a well equipped kitchen. Our stay happened during summer and we much appreciated the available fan as well as a room air conditioner. washer on premises as well. Parking had it‘s challenges due to zoning and availability, but doable.

2.5 flights of stairs, so traveling light would be easier…

The host was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. The apartment was very clean and had all of the amenities you need. The welcome book was very detailed and informative. The location was perfect, in easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and affordable parking.

Fantastic!

Lovely & comfortable, great location, easy & very responsive communication. Well stocked with supplies. We were able to store our bicycles in the basement. Would definitely return.

Nothing! Be aware that the loft stairs are quite steep & require some agility.
