Excellent location, easy walk from station and plenty of restaurants nearby
I had room 3 and the private bathroom was a few steps downstairs from the room.It wasn't really an issue except that you have to remember to take the key with you

Situated in a quiet street, but within a short taxi ride or a ten minute walk(across footbridge), from the station. Food otlets nearby.

No staff are available. Key was kept in a lock box and I was sent the code ahead of time. No one was on the premises to greet guests.
Very impersonal. Also, my bathroom was not en-suite. Had to go down steps to get to it. Not ideal, especially at 3:00 am. On top of that, a bright light cones on and that was most unwelcome.

Fabulous location. An easy walk up the street and across the Greig Bridge to the town centre.
The room was very nice, I love a good attic room with a skylight.
The room and bathroom were very clean and I felt secure.
Parking. It's the first thing that comes up as a feature. This property is virtually city centre, the chance of getting the 'free street parking' that's so prominent in the property's listing is very slim. It's £5 per 24 hours for Cathedral parking, which is not unreasonable, but it's a good 5-8 minute walk with your luggage. The property replied to my query and said they are upfront about it, but that's not the case. They only tell you there's only some chance of getting parking after it's too late to cancel.
The private bathroom is outside the bedroom and if you're not careful it would be easy to get locked out of your room in the middle of the night. ALWAYS TAKE YOUR KEYS.
The pillows are lumpy AF.
If you stay for more than one night there's no prompt that your room will be cleaned and no facility to put up a Do Not Disturb / Cleaning not Needed sign.
