Staff are helpful & friendly, room was clean & comfortable. Good location.

Great location and easy to find. Lovely view of the cathedral from our bedroom. Kettle and tea/coffee facilities with chocolate and biscuit was a nice touch. Plenty of off road parking. Room was a good size with microwave and fridge, table and chairs.

Mattress too soft for my liking, and larger bath towels would have been appreciated, but these are minor points.

Very friendly welcome , room comfortable and clean. No breakfast.

All was fine but if you don't drive there's a 20 minutes walk to the station and a bit more to the town center.

The lady was extremely friendly and welcoming.. we immediately felt at ease. There was a fridge in the room, which was extremely helpful. We were there for 2 days and received fresh towels.

Check-in wasn't clear. There are two buildings, and it wasn't sign posted where to go for this. The room needs an update, although it was clean it has some build up for dirt, particularly in the bathroom. The decore was tired and nothing matched - i know this is a small thing but it makes a difference and doesn't cost a fortune to update. The small sofa in the room had definitely seen better days and really should be replaced. On the whole, everything in the room was ok, but only just. We had an ensuit and the door squeaked and didn't shut properly. There were loose tiles on the ceiling. The room door didn't have a chain lock to slide across when you're in the room. And this matters, especially when travelling with a child alone. I would have felt much more comfortable and safer with this in place. Lighting was ok but also needed updating.. there were two bedside lamps which were set back from the bed so didn't really suffice. The overhead lighting was poor both in the bedroom and bathroom. The car park is very small and although it advertises parking, it may not be available. I had to squeeze my car into a very tight space as there are no lines to mark bays and other guests had parked generously to themselves. The bay i was left with was full of rubble and two metal poles, which I had to move to get into. There is no on street parking so I had no choice but to do this and take my chance that I didn't damage my car.
