A beautiful old Georgian house, which was full of history a d character. It was both comfortable and welcoming a d had all the essentials needed for a relaxing break.

Lovely home full of character and warmth, Nick is a charming and welcoming host. Good location, very comfortable sleep, great shower, perfect breakfast. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect.

This pretty, antique-filled cottage stands on one of the main roads into the city, with the centre a 10 minute walk down the hill, and free on street parking just around the corner, with a permit readily provided by the owner, Nick. This easy access remarkably combines with a tranquil and comfortable home and garden, where a warm welcome awaits. Nick generously invites his guests to share Trehaverne Cottage, with a lovely cup of tea on arrival, a cosy sitting room with wide screen television, and a delightful dining room next to his open-access kitchen. There are two double bedrooms on the first floor, under sloping attic ceilings. The beds are big and comfy, in rooms that are cottage tiny, and the bathroom features a very big free standing bath. Nick will only book the rooms for one group of two or up to four linked guests, so the house is not shared with others.
