The property was pleasantly presented to the owners own style. Well laid out internal accomodations, plenty of room for two. Outside area was very private and tranquil. Lovely pool, well maintained.
Owner (Ursula) very knowledgeable and helpful having lived in area for 30 ish years. Not intrusive. Also provided a little welcome gift of wine and snacks.
You may want to consider renting a car as the property is about 10 minute drive from Puerto Mogan. Parking is available.
We had a very chilled couple of weeks staying here.

Perfect chill out stay
Our stay in Mogan was everything we were looking for the property and location is ideal for a chill out holiday.
The property is clean and well equipped with a great pool to cool down in when it gets a bit too hot and also has a great day bed if you require a siesta.
Ursula the host is very friendly and helpful and available to give any information you require.
We would highly recommend this property for a couple looking for a relaxing holiday.

Outdoor space amazing
Snuggled below the cliffs of the Mogan valley this lovely bungalow is charming and comfortable.
The area around the private pool with its loungers and eating space are lush with greenery and a tranquil spot to spend an hour or two .
Ursula the host provided us with brilliant pre visit information plus both a written and photographic detail of how to find the property.
On arrival Ursula is a very welcoming host and readily gave us important information about the lovely bungalow and surroundings.
Although we only stayed one week we would recommend this property and it’s lovely hostess..

Great place for a couples get away
Casa del Molino is a delightful property which has everything that you need to make your holiday perfect. If you like a place that is unusual and quirky then this is the place for you. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The patio area is private and has views down the valley. There is a beautiful day bed, with sunbeds and chairs along with the pool so you can relax in the peace and quiet. You definitely need a car as the property is up in the hills with a very steep driveway to the house. However it only takes 5 minutes to drive to Mogan where there are a few shops and good restaurants. We think that to make the property even more desirable for English holiday makers a selection of DVDs would be good as we could only pick up 3 English speaking news channels on the TV. There is a small collection of books that came in very handy. We had a very chilled out stay there to recharge our batteries which was much needed so I thank Ursula for her warm welcome.

Lovely peaceful location for a relaxing break
Quiet location but with easy access to everywhere. Property is very nice, clean and with all you need. The owner Ursula is lovely, very welcoming and around if you need anything. Bus into the Port is really easy and quick. Only a short walk into Mogan and some restaurants and Spar shop there. Two walks from Mogan - one from the village is really good - the one going from near the villa is rather more steep and difficult. A week didn't seem long enough!

Great place, fabulous pool in a fantastic location for either going to the coast (15 mins in the car) or walking in the hills (from the doorstep). Ursula was very nice, and was there to greet us and available whenever we needed her. Highly recommended.

Ursula is a charming host who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was relaxed and enjoyable. The property is filled with unique objects which makes it very special. Terrace was great to relax and sunbathe on whilst pool was welcome to cool down from hot sun. Everywhere was very clean and well kept. We will definitely be back again in the future

Holiday home with character
We stayed here for three weeks in late January and early February, and enjoyed it a lot. The first week was rather cold, but the owner lent us an electric heater to take the chill off in the evenings, so it wasn’t so bad. The problem with mid-winter is that the sun doesn’t come round to this side of the valley until mid-morning, so breakfast on the patio is a non-starter. Some nights, I was glad of my hot-water bottle!
Apart from the mid-winter chill, it was all excellent. This is a holiday home with character, quite unlike the thousands of identi-kit apartments along the coast. The owner is an artist and potter, and has furnished the house with style and imagination.
The location is excellent, far enough from the road to be reasonably quiet. Driving there, the last 50 metres is very steep and narrow, but there is also a parking space near the bottom of the hill so sometimes we left the car there and walked the steep part. There is a nice fruit and veg shop within five minutes walk, and Mogán itself is not far. The bus service is good, but you’ll need a car to explore some of the remoter beaches or inland walks.
The owner was friendly and helpful, and we have no hesitation in recommending the apartment.

Perfect location
Good accommodation not far from Puerto Mogan and walking distance to the village where there were several tapas bars and cafes plus a good supermarket. Nice private pool and outside area looking onto mountain views. Ursula was very welcoming and friendly and a great host.
It was a peaceful village with a lovely windmill a couple of hundred yards from the apartment which was interesting to look around. Lots of good mountain walks nearby and we had an enjoyable stay. On our list for a return visit!

Great host - on hand for any questions but not intrusive. Great property in a beautiful location. Lovely bar in Mogán - walking distance and very friendly people. Bus stop at bottom of road makes access to beach and port really easy. Highly recommended.

Peaceful haven
Ideal place to relax away from the crowds in your own private space with lots of comfy sun beds and seats. Pool well kept. Accommodation clean and comfortable and spacious for 2 people. The local Spar and its staff are very good and you can get everything you need there to self cater, although there are restaurants in Mogan too, so no need to go to the tourist traps. With a car there is easy access to the stunning mountains using a spectacular road. We enjoyed some nice walking with great views across to Tenerife, and it was quiet! Ursula is a welcoming and efficient host. Thank you. Highly recommended for those not wanting to be on the beach with everyone else!

Idyllic location for peace and quiet.
We'd been to Gran Canaria previously and stayed in touristy Patalavaca. This time we wanted/needed some peace and quiet, so decided to try this place, 6km up the valley from Puerto Mogan. The apartment is separated from the main house and has the exclusive use of the pool area. The kitchen is well appointed, and the seating area has a TV with satellite box. Even in mid Dec, it was warm enough to sit outside and get a tan. The town of Mogan itself is a very short walk away, or a 5min bus ride (once an hour, 1:40€ each way). In Mogan itself are a number of excellent restaurants, especially the Terazza bar, which happens to be at the bus stop. Ursula, the apartment owner lives onsite and is available to organise or help with any problems that might occur. We'll definitely try to go back.
Things to do?, Good, no hassle shopping in Puerto Mogan (unlike Puerto Rico with aggressive timeshare salesmen), Friday market at Puerto Mogan is massive, goes all the way from the bus station, right around the port and on to the breakwater. Plenty of Restaurants in the Puerto as well.
Bus 84 towards the port leaves from across the road by the bins at 2 mins past the hour (Molino Viento), and coming back from Puerto M at 20 before the hour. Check the timetable as some hours it doesn't run. Also, if you're feeling energetic, take the walk up to the cross behind Mogan village. It looks difficult, but it's actually really easy along a good path and'll take you half an hour. From the top, you can come back down again to Mogan, or carry on to Veneguerra in the next valley. Getting back from there is a little tricky as the bus service is less frequent. Mogan itself has a good sized Spar supermarket, and the are other supermarkets in the Puerto itself, such as a bigger Spar and a Hyper Dino. For the Hyper Dino, leave the bus at the roundabout just after the Radisson blu, and head toward the 'Shopping Centre' sign, it's in the basement.

Lovely quiet get-away in Gran Canaria
Had a very relaxing week at La Casa del Molino near Mogan - amazing views from the pool and the weather was superb. The accommodation is spacious and the owner, Ursula, lives next door. Ursula was there to welcome us and the house has all you need for a comfortable stay. It is a really beautiful and quiet area and perfect for unwinding. It was hard to leave the beautiful pool and go off to explore but there is lots to see on Gran Canaria.
The village of Mogan is just up the road and there is everything you need there. The nearest port is the beautiful Puerto Mogan - only about 10 mins drive and very scenic with lots of nice restaurants and a lovely harbour. You are also well-placed here for access to the many mountain walking trails - you can reach them from the house and the mountains, trails and mountain roads are quite spectacular - you need a head for heights! All-in-all we had a really nice week - lots of variety in this island and a car is recommended if you really want to explore.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time
My wife and I spent a delightful week at La Casa del Molino. Ursula is a very helpful and gracious host and we had all we needed for a peaceful stay. The property is very stylishly decorated in an African theme, and was very comfortable. There are some lovely drives and walks in the mountains and in the other direction the Port of Mogan is a beautiful town with very nice beach and restaurants. Thank you Ursula, I'm sure we'll be back to stay at La casa del Molino.

Thrid time arround
My wife and I just returned after our third stay at the wonderful Casa del Molino.
For us, this is as close as we can get to the absolute perfect "get-away-stay".
Privacy, silence, close to nature (lots of hiking trails passing close by), Restaurants with-in walking or minutes of driving distance.
Regarding the property, everything including the private pool, is clean, very well maintained and the personal and artistic style is fantastic. Ursula, the owner is super friendly, supportive and service minded.
This was our third stay. We would like to have the opportunity to come back Again and will gladly recommend La Casa del Molino to others.

My Wife and just spend a week in this wonderful apartment. In every aspect it lived up to our expectations build on the listing on Homeaway.com.
A perfect hideaway and yet located close enough to enjoy the nearby restaurants and towns.
This place is ideal as starting point for hikes in the mountains, bicycle trips, sightseeing by bus or rental car or simply just enjoying life on the private terasse overlooking the mountains. Here is no other sounds than those of mother nature.
The owner, living next door, is always at hand with information or whatever you might need.
Absolutely a place to be remembered by us and we gladly recommend it to everyone looking for a little get-away from the busy tourist resorts.

Wonderful, quirky property in peaceful location
I would highly recommend La Casa Del Molino. The location was perfect for us; a beautiful mountain setting just 5-10 minute drive away from the busier Puerto de Mogan resort. Very peaceful and really relaxing sunbathing at the private (unheated) pool. Mogan village is a 10 minute walk along a well lit road where there is a Spar supermarket and a couple of bars/restaurants. Acaymo restaurant is the nearest and better than any in Puerto de Mogan. It doesn't look like much from the outside but inside it's a wonderfully traditional Canarian restaurant with a great atmosphere.
The cottage itself is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is quite rustic but has everything you'll need. The owner is very welcoming and helpful and she lives next door so is on hand for any queries.
The only negative I can think of is the bath towels seemed a bit old and a couple smelt of smoke but that can be easily changed and the rest was perfect. We will definitely be returning next year.

perfect location
The location of the house was top, only 5 km from beautiful Puerto de Mogan with a lot of restaurants and bars. There is a busstop 100 mrt from the house and the bus brings you in 10 mintute to puerto Mogan. The small village Mogan was only 10 minutes walking (with a good equipped Spar). It is a cosy house with a nice terras, swimming pool and a beautiful view. We can recommend this house.
