The property is really nice and it is evident that it was built to be a luxury hotel.
Communication with the hotel was extremely poor. They constantly send automated messages, but when you reply or ask for assistance, there is simply no response.
From the moment we arrived, the service felt disorganized and inattentive. We were told someone would take us to our room, but no one came and we were eventually left to figure it out ourselves.
Our private pool was dirty when we arrived, full of mosquitoes, with even a bottle cap lying at the bottom, so we could not enjoy it that evening.
The lakefront was also very disappointing. There is no properly maintained swimming beach, and the walk to the water was neglected and littered with old towels, bottles and rubbish. The Kinneret itself was beautiful, but the hotel’s access to it was certainly not what we expected from a property marketed as a luxury lakeside resort.
There was also no hot water in the bathtub. We reported it, but instead of fixing it while we were out, maintenance staff arrived in the middle of the afternoon while we were using our private pool. Having several staff members enter our private pool area while we were relaxing there felt extremely intrusive and showed a real lack of respect for guests’ privacy. In the end, the problem was not even fixed, and our room was not serviced either.
For a hotel in this price range that presents itself as a luxury property, the level of service, maintenance and attention to guests was far below what we expected.

I arrived late, Nuri (One of the Managers) seen that I have lost a few hours of staying so he took care of that and gave me extra time on the checkout covering almost all of the time I have missed on my reservation.
Other than that everything was on highest possible quality they always made sure I am having the best of my time there.
Thanks for all the Setai team for this amazing experience.

The property is gorgeous. Beautifully landscaped, green and lush. The location is wonderful - quiet and serene. The hotel facilities are also beautiful, nicely designed and spacious.
Facilities are old and worn and not kept up as they should be. The service is mediocre. Not the most professional or classy. And the very worst part about our stay was on Saturday the pool was completely overrun by young arsim who were clearly not guests, a huge group of guys who were drinking and sniffing cocaine right next to us, loud and obnoxious. It completely ruined our relaxing day by the pool. It's really a shame that the management is allowing these people to ruin their reputation and losing quality guests. It's supposed to be a classy, upscale hotel and it's turned into a cheap lowlife hangout. very disappointing.
