Actually it was Amiral Hotel,Unita because Orfeu was temporarily closed. Renovated rooms, nice furniture, modern lighting, large pool, very good breakfast and a pleasant and very nice staff. I really enjoyed this vacation. Very convenient situated, aswell.

Personalul foarte dragut, micul dejun perfect, cei de la parcare ne gaseau mereu cate un loc disponibil, hotelul are piscina foarte curata, aer conditionat, am avut sezlonguri pe plaja, barul de pe plaja are personal foarte placut.
Locatia este excelenta. Statia de autobuz e aproape, si sunt multe autoserviri in zona.
Cand am ajuns, Hotel Orfeu era inchis. Apoi am aflat ca nu vom fi cazati la Orfeu, ci la Amiral. Dezamagirea noastra a fost foarte mare, pentru ca reveneam la hotel Orfeu prima oara dupa 30 de ani. Pe vremea aceea eram copil, acum eram eu cu copiii si parintii mei. Ar fi trebuit macar sa fiu anuntata dinainte. Hotel Amiral a fost in regula, dar dezamagirea ca nu stam la Orfeu ne-a tinut ceva zile..
Muzica de la hotelurile din apropiere este foarte tare seara, iar in weekend tine pana la 2 dimineata. Este incredibil ca Mamaia permite asa ceva intr-o statiune care nu e neaparat definita ca statiune pentru tineret.

a large amount of dirt / dust under furniture (bed, bedside tables, mirror)
the cleaning staff does not change the shower gel and toilet paper on a regular basis. Several times I had to ask for a gel at the reception (once they could not provide it to me)
