I was there to explore the Mamaia seaside and eating, drinking and accommodations.

Breakfast was basic but plentiful, food was constantly supplemented. Omelet was very tasty. Sausages good quality. The beach was clean and well organized and the hotel was right across from the beach. Bathroom had a generous supply of soap and lotion, shower had hot water. The hotel was very close to bus M100 connecting Mamaia to the rail station Gara, for only 2.5 Ron and running every 5 min.

There was no tooth brush and paste and no shaving kit. Even for the guests of hotels one must pay for the beach chairs. The view from my room showed an empty dirty swimming pool. There was not even a mini fitness center in the hotel.

Pleasant, but not welcoming

- The hotel has a very good location. Amazing view from the room if you have the sea view room view. - You have kids playground indoor and outdoor. - They clean the room everyday.

- They charge you extra for everything including if you lose the card key (25 RON). Crib another 30 RON /night. Extra bed - 70 RON/night. Pet 60 RON/night (floor 1 and 2) , 80 RON/night above. - Do not pay for sunbeds before you check the price on the beach- the hotel offered 50 RON per sunbed for the first 2 rows and 35 RON for the rest with a discount of 10 RON and 5 RON if you bought them from the front desk. On the beach, the sunbeds were 25 RON whatever row you picked. - Food was not good to say the least. You have Blue Acqua restaurant near with similar prices and delicious food. - 20 minutes to checkin since at the frontdesk because the receptionist didn't know how to work with the software. - Parking not big enough, we had to pay extra for this and park nearby.

Coz I mentiond when I will arrive,they didnt prepare the room for hour i recived and i payd for parking one day and

too far from the beach!

The staff didn’t kindly and dont work properly!!

breakfast: there is enough food and the personal refill it frequently. also the taste is good. room: looks nice, but looks better in pictures :) nice view from balcony

breakfast: not so much variety. I would expect to have more things, for example honey. bathroom: is flooded daily from shower. low quality towels (in my opinion). cleaning: it's a big word. every day the cleaning means making the bad, emptying trash cans and changing the towels. refiling the shower gel was only at request. flexibility: I guess not. the hotel have contract with 2 companies for sunbeds (different beaches). I received a voucher for sunbed on one of the companies. I requested to be changed with the other one. Request denied, because that company was allocated to my room other bad things: the elevators, a plastic under the sheet (on bed), no mosquito net, some furniture broken

Lovely

The view from the hotel was absolutely gorgeous. Room was small but clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was really good and varied. The restaurant had a lot of staff that would immediately discard the leftovers and clean the tables and chairs. We really appreciated how clean they kept the restaurant. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

It's not that important, but it would've been nice to have the shower toiletries replenished daily. We used almost all the ones we received on the first day, but the cleaning staff replenished them only on the third day. Similar situation with the toilet paper, where they replenished only 1 out of 2 toilet paper rolls, for a room occupied by two people. These are minor aspects though, everything else was great, they replaced the towels and cleaned our room every morning.

nice hotel, very well located, beachfront, child friendry

The room was completely refurbished since my last stay years ago, so everything was new and clean

very happy, for sure i shall book a room with Riviera Hotel for the future and also recommend it to others

very clean room, very comfortable bed, staff was very polite. the food at the restaurant was delicious, and having an inside and outside playground was very good, my son was able to play inside while there were quick showers outside.

i wouldn’t say there are any minuses, i would add something that maybe can be arranged in the future, and that is a pool, for colder days when the water from the sea was colder, maybe in the future something can be arranged.
