The beautiful location on the Baltic Sea. The atmosphere was peaceful.
I was in the first floor and the guests in the room above me had small children that ran back and forth.

Location, the view, sauna, staff was kind.
There were some signs and notes everywhere but the overall placement of the units and areas could be explained with relevant context i.e. sauna is here and you can rent a robe from reception. I found myself looking for what is where and a staff to ask questions.

Beautiful spot, wonderful views, pretty breakfast room. The sauna was great with a lovely spot to hop in the water. Good lunch in the cafe.
The website is incredibly misleading. The website shows images of the original, beautiful old house in a way that suggests that that is where you will be staying. However none of the accommodation or facilities or breakfast are in this house. All the accommodation is provided in modern blocks spread over the site. They remind me of university halls of residence or travel lodges on motorways in the uk. The inside of the rooms are nice, the block we were in was recently refurbished and was done in a very tasteful way. The staff look very unhappy, no one really smiles, I wonder if they are overworked? When we asked at reception where the billiard table shown on the website was the girl said it was in the old house but she had to check if we could use it. She said we couldn’t after 8pm because there weren’t enough staff. When we asked if we could use kayaks she said we had to give 24 hours notice as the reception staff also had to get the kayaks out for guests. So I sense they were understaffed. I think this is a really great conference hotel, not a great place for a holiday. Had I come here on business I would have thought much more highly of it than as a tourist with my family.
