Location for Walabi Belgium was perfect. Short 10 min walk. Train station also 10 min walk.
Not much around the property. There is a supermarket and small retail park 10 min walk in the opposite direction of Walabi which we used (fridge in room). It also has a Pizza Hut and resturant and pharmacy.
Food outside of breakfast was limited - on our last night there was only pizza available
The outdoor lights on the swimming pool don’t work so after 2030 can’t see anything in the pool but it’s open until 2200

The location is within walking distance from theme park walibi
We got connected rooms for the family

A lot of road work in the area made walking around and navigation difficult

We stayed at Novotel Wavre Brussels East for one night with our family before heading to Charleroi Airport, and we were very pleased with our stay.
The room was clean, well-maintained and nicely appointed, with good-quality materials and everything we needed for a comfortable night. We particularly enjoyed the excellent breakfast, which offered a great variety and was a perfect way to start the day.
The swimming pool was also a big plus, especially for our son, who really enjoyed spending time there and made the stay even more enjoyable for our family.

Large open plan reception and lots of places to sit and chill. Big rooms, quiet snd comfortable. Walking distance to Walibi Belgium.
So many staff and yet so little support. Advertised swimming pool was strewn with popped deflated balloons and weights and unusable. Looked like there had been a really heavy session there a week ago and no-one has cleared up since. Didn’t get tided up in the 24 hrs we were there either. Staff very brusque and unfriendly rushing us through breakfast. Also massive bank of Tesla chargers in big car park meaning cars and taxis coming all day and night to charge up.
