The hotel was located beside the river which was perfect for the start of our cycle tour. Plus, it was an easy walk to the centre of Nevers. Check in time was 12:00 which was excellent for us as we were able to securely park our bicycles, leave our luggage and walk around the town. The hotel had a lovely view over the river from the bar and restaurant. We were able to dine in-house which is ideal when you are exhausted from travel. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Just the location and the free parking
Having come from another Mecure Hotel in Clermont-Ferrand this hotel in Nevers is not a 4*. There was not a safe in the room, paper/plastic cups and for a superior room it was quite small as was the bathroom.
