Er was geen ontbijt. Dat vond ik wel jammer.

We wilden een dagje naar Borkum en we gingen met de trein. Zo kwamen we voor twee nachten in Uithuizen terecht, want van daaruit ben je snel en gemakkelijk in Eemshaven. We waren het meest van de tijd weg, dus dan heb je eigenlijk niet veel nodig: een schone kamer met een goed bed en een fijne douche. Bonuspunten als er een vriendelijke host is en ook dat zat helemaal goed. We kwamen hier aan op de laatste dag van de hittegolf en het was fijn dat we 's avonds nog even buiten op de achterplaats konden zitten toen het wat koeler werd. Ook waren we erg blij met de ventilator op onze kamer. Mijn moeder en ik hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad, mede mogelijk gemaakt door deze fijne locatie.
Ik realiseer me nu dat we helemaal zijn vergeten te melden dat het koffie-apparaat niet werkte. Kan gebeuren! Hopelijk voor de gasten na ons werkt het inmiddels wel weer.

Central location but it was very quiet while I was there.
It does have a communal cooking area and there was a fridge in the room.
This is more of a hostel than a hotel and for the price it was too expensive. The entrance door is actually round the corner from the front of the hotel.
The room was basic for the price and needs to be freshened up. As the walls of the room were not solid I expect that sound would easily travel through the walls.
I travelled by bicycle and the shed I was told to put my bike in was not locked and also it was accessible from the road behind which I hadn't realised.
I have stayed in very many properties that I booked on booking.com and I am getting frustrated with fake reviews and photos and information that are at best misleading. This doesn't just apply to this property but also many others.
