This a a beautiful property and one of the loveliest places to stay in Pag. We loved both our evening meals there, one in the formal restaurant and one in the bistro. Little details like the ceramics in reception and the lovely gardens make it feel very special. The manager gave us great advice about what to see nearby.
The rooms although lovely feel a little tired and the bathrooms need sprucing up. The breakfast was not to our liking, limited options for our children as not much choice of pastries or pancakes and many of the dishes we would have liked were a supplementary cost.

Tucked away from the noise, great restaurants, big room, amazing breakfast and lovely breakfast team serving us, overall food experience is exceptional
Arrival experience, attention to details could be better, yes attitude instead of we can not to this or that, pool is relatively small , nothing for kids apart from a few old pens in the lobby to draw

Worst check-in we’ve ever experienced. Apathetic, lazy, inconsiderate check-in desk person didn’t even bother to show us to our room or even try to get someone to help us get our luggage from the parking lot to our room. They just sat there and pointed to a door and said “You can bring it in that way.” We’re 70 and 65. Unbelievable behavior for a highly rated and expensive hotel. We’ve had much better experiences at much cheaper hotels worldwide.
Then another person at the desk said they would have to hold our passports until we left. I pointed out that was against their own written rules and she relented.
That said…we’ve been treated poorly at check-in some other times when we’ve used Booking.com. It appears many hotels consider Booking.com guests second rate or suspect because they don’t make as much money from them.
They have plenty of high end attitude…but…don’t let that fool you…don’t expect a 5 star high end experience at this hotel…
