The hotel is beautifully situated overlooking Loch Ness and the family room we stayed in was spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed the choice of food at dinner and at breakfast. As we had our dog with us, we couldn't eat in the dining room but a table was kindly laid for us in the lounge instead.
We arrived at 2.30 pm (which was stated as the start time for booking in on our booking form) but they couldn't find a receptionist to book us in, so we had to go into Fort Augustus to look around for a bit, and then returned to the hotel later. However, all the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Not much. The bed was comfortable.
The photo is incorrect. They have logged the entire back of the hotel. The carpets were dirty and old, actually most of the hotel interior looked old . Bar wasn’t anything like description.
