The location and settings. Absolutely stunning
Building work. Looked like a whole hotel being built near reception but you could not see or hear this from your rooms or villas

I don’t want to leave a review because when I come back I don’t want it to be full. Me and my friends had a lovely stay
It was pretty special. There was construction when we were there so initially I was :/ but we genuinely barely noticed it due the layout of the property
Depending on what you want to do I would check the beach conditions for that time of year

We loved it and had a great time, the location and setting on the beach was perfect, the swimming pool, bar and restaurant are lovely and the staff were all amazing and worked so hard to ensure we were all looked after. Huge thanks to all of them and accommodating my GF diet, including with the best gf bread ever! And the most incredible towel art for my daughter's birthday.
We had next door rooms which had everything we needed. We walked along the beach to try other food and drink options and it was a great base to do trips to the north and south. We felt it was very good value for money.
Nothing, they let us know when we booked that they were doing building work which we appreciated, they said it wouldn't affect our stay and they were right.

The location is definitely the best in Khao Lak. It is necessary to rent a car or a scooter; the hotel rented us a scooter for 200 baht per day (€5).
Although the hotel had informed us that there were some construction works, after further inquiries we were told that the works were limited. In reality, the works were everywhere. There was a large construction site near the entrance, one near our room, and one near the pool. Moreover, while we were relaxing on the beach, excavators arrived; the staff told us it would only last a few minutes, but it went on for an hour. Most importantly, we had not been informed that the spa was closed (it was under construction), and for us this was a real inconvenience. In addition, one of the main receptionists was always very rude. Luckily, the beach was wonderful, otherwise we would have asked for our money back."
