Royal Island Resort Maldives

Our 11-day stay at Royal Island Maldives in August 2026 was nothing short of heavenly and magical. Everything was fantastic, from the breathtaking beach and beautifully maintained tropical surroundings to the outstanding food, warm hospitality, and genuinely wonderful people who looked after us throughout our stay. The island itself is absolutely beautiful — so lush, colourful and wonderfully cared for, with an abundance of magnificent mature coconut palms and tropical jungle. Everywhere we looked felt like a picture of paradise. The beach was simply idyllic, and the whole island had a peaceful, natural beauty that made it incredibly easy to relax and enjoy every moment. A very special thank you to Mark, who looked after us throughout our entire stay. His care, attention and kindness made such a difference and helped make our experience truly memorable. Our sincere thanks also go to Noor, whose care and attention with the housekeeping were fantastic. Everything was always beautifully presented, and his dedication, thoughtfulness and attention to detail were very much appreciated. Pandi, our waiter, was absolutely charming and hospitable. His warm smile, friendly manner and attentive service made every meal a pleasure. We would also like to thank Chef Faiz for his wonderful information and enthusiasm about the food. The variety was outstanding, with such a diverse range of flavours from across the globe. Every meal was delicious, beautifully prepared and incredibly tasty. There was always something exciting to discover, and the quality and choice were exceptional. A special mention too for Renuka at the pool, whose friendly and attentive service added to our enjoyment and relaxation. And thank you to the lovely, highly professional team at the Spa. Their warmth, expertise and care made our time there wonderfully relaxing. To all the staff at Royal Island Maldives — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The rooms are amazing, well made with beautiful views.

There is a windy side, we were book there initially. The noise from the water hitting the steps was loud. We moved to the non windy side. The fishing trips were a rip off. Did the sunset fishing and the casting both times the guys were disinterested and the rigs were kept set up correctly
