Lovely building with lots of cute features. I loved all the plants and small details around the hotel.
Staff were friendly, helpful, kept my bag for the day while I went exploring following check out.
Room was spacious and comfortable.
It would be great to have tea making facilities in the room. It was provided in the lounge area but only until 6.30pm.. which is very early if you're out for the day.

I loved this hotel. It's about 10 mins walk along the lake front to the centre of town, and I really enjoyed being slightly out of the centre. There's an excellent bar/restaurant on the waterfront just near it. All the staff were friendly and helpful and when they didn't speak English they forgave my total absence of Spanish and we managed with google translate. Both my rooms were very clean and comfortable, breakfast was good. It's simple, nothing fancy, but it has a tiny terrace and a little sitting area, a tea and coffee point all day, the staff were lovely, and it has a really nice vibe. Thank you Casa Kalfu and I hope to see you again some time!
They very kindly let me leave a small bag when I went on a multi-day hike. I had the sense this wasn't a regular request and they were great about it but if you plan to do this it might be worth checking in advance.

Rustic ski chalet feel with large rooms. Very comfortable beds. Delicious buffet breakfast. Very helpful staff. A lovely walk into town and easy parking.
