Close to the fortress, but about 25 minutes walk from bus station; even though there’re 10 beds, the room is big and spacious, secured lockers are provided as well. Overall very clean and comfortable to stay. The staff is quite nice and friendly. The laundry service (wash and dry) is 6 euro and quite nice.

I think this would be a great place to visit in the summer months and when staff is available to assist.
The Brazilian receptionist was really hit and miss with customer service. Sometimes she was demanding, other times dismissive, but occasionally friendly and helpful. But only to certain people. However, nobody informed me that all of the attractions were free on the day I arrived, and on my last day she moved in a guest who came back from drinking at 6 am stinking like alcohol and snoring loudly and waking up all the guests. When I brought this up to both of the staff in the morning, she replied, "sometimes this happens," then asked the guy how his night partying was, which felt dismissive of my sleepless night. The manager also did not address the issue and it soured my entire experience, because it felt like they couldn't care less about us. Businesses should really try to understand lasting impressions are based more on feelings and that a little bit of sympathy would've gone a long way.
