Such a wholesome place to stay. The building and its contents are old and a bit shabby - but it’s not pretending to be anything other than a budget hotel. It’s kept very clean and there’s just a vibe of good heartedness and community-mindedness that is super endearing. Amazing view of the Skytree. Great cafe downstairs. Excellent help with recommendations for the area. Accessible to explore from. And do yourself a favour: don’t miss the rooftop bath.
If you want modern, new, fresh etc, this ain’t it. But that’s down to budget and preferences. There’s nothing not to like if you are looking for super affordable private room space, like sleeping on a futon and don’t mind sharing with all sorts of characters…

Very affordable, clean and great staff! They also offer a japanese bath and rentable bikes based on availability for a low price. Restaurant is also available. I really liked that it was partly traditional japanese with yukata, tatami etc.
The only little downside for me was that the next subway Station is like 10 minutes away, but then again one bus stop is directly in front of the hotel so that's another option

It was incredibly clean, and the bed was far more comfortable than I expected. I slept wonderfully, the staff were exceptional, and I loved everything about the hotel.
Rooms facing the street can be quite noisy, especially if you’re sensitive to sound like I am.
