Price is cheap for a homey superb accommodation. Proximity to the Kitasenju train station, walking distance from the food stores, shopping mall & the mini-Don Quote.
Accommodation is located is a quiet residential area. Free laundry soap & use of washing machine. Small fridge in the room and bed & pillow are so soft which gave me a sweet sleep for 7nights.
The caretaker speaks acceptable English and very helpful

We have stayed only one night at that place but it was nice. Very close from metro station, super clean, kitchen and common room are good and convenient, as well as the shower and bathroom area.
We had 2 single beds (bunkle beds).
We could do laundry for free, which was very convenient.
We could let our luggage in the storage room after checkout.
The staff member present there was nice and helpful.
The clean fee that appeared very small below the price, and that we really saw only after payment... It dobbled the price of the room. So we were not happy about that at all.
We tried to cancel but it wasn't possible.
Next time, try to be more transparent about the price by showing clearly the total amount of the room directly and not writing it in small letters.

The rooms are good size. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, microwave, etc. Nice sitting area.

The amenities were good and the location was convenient. The shared area was cosy and sometimes the other guests would chat with you when you ate there. Also cool that it's within walking distance to some karaoke places so you can take advantage of the late night discounted rates.
Next door guests made a lot of noise like slamming the microwave door outside our room and had loud banging noises we could hear through the wall which was thin. They left a mess in the shower room which we needed to clean before using. So it can be bad if other guests are the inconsiderate type. Wish there had been a broom or something we could use to sweep the floor of our room ourselves as it was not able to be cleaned our whole stay.
