The location was perfect! The staff was friendly and helpful. There was free tea and instant coffee in the communal kitchen. The hot water was wonderful after a long day of travel. The cute tatami mats were a nice touch to our room.
I wish my bed had an extra pillow because the one they gave me was very flat. The bed was also not very comfortable or padded but that might be a personal preference because my kid liked it.

Although the hotel is quite old, it’s located in a really cool area, and the hotel itself has character and is very atmospheric. You can get a good night’s sleep — we had only 4 beds in our room, which is rare.
It all depends on the neighbors. My neighbor would turn on the air conditioner without any warning, and if you have a neighbor above you, the bed shakes when he climbs in. I would still recommend tucking the blanket into a pillowcase instead of just handing it over — it’s more hygienic.

Very clean
The bed is a plank disguised under a thin mattress.
