Plenty of places to park in private car park. Friendly staff. Lots of little extras in the room. Good quality bedding and towels. Really lovely place.

Situated in a very pleasant village with easy access to the A35 and Weymouth nearby. Staff were very friendly, room was clean, comfortable and nicely maintained. We had Breakfast and lunch at the pub and it was very good.
The only downside was the busy road outside with no pavement on either side of the road for a short distance.

Great restaurant food and excellent beer, most of the staff were very pleasant and engaging.
Room was basic but clean and tidy; unfortunately it was very noisy from the road and cold (no heating available).
Early breakfast seems to be a challenge; on my first morning I knew that I needed to be out before breakfast started and I was provided with a packed lunch in lieu which was fine. On the evening of day 1 the bearded guy behind the bar, the exception to my comment above about the staff, asked if I was having breakfast the next day. When I said yes he suggested 8:30. As I needed to leave for work by 7:30 I asked what time was the earliest, he told me 7:00 to 7:15 so I opted for 7:15 as this would be tight but he made me feel like I was being unreasonable to even ask.
In the morning I got down at about 07:05 to find the very pleasant breakfast hostess who told me the chef wouldn’t even arrive until 7:15 so I went without again as there simply wasn’t time to wait for the chef to get the kitchen ready, cook my food and for me to eat. I asked for breakfast at 7:15 and expected the kitchen to be ready to at least take my order and start cooking it at that time, not once everything had been warmed up.
