Staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself was well maintained, beautifully decorated throughout and the room was comfortable with a thoughtful layout. The location of the hotel was great for the purpose of our visit (to visit the Tutankhamun exhibition which was very close by) and the street was pretty. Would recommend!
Following a delicious dinner the night before, the focaccia dish that I ordered at breakfast was a little ambitious and tough in texture to eat.

Evening meal was disappointing for my wife she ordered fish and chips of which the fish was small, mostly thick batter and very greasy

Clean. Lots of character.
No air conditioning although did have fans which did the job. Had to call reception for an ironing board which was ok but at that price I’d prefer it was just in the room.
