Pretty old hotel with lovely grounds and friendly staff.
Our booking wasn’t quite right when we arrived and the check in process was quite slow but they fixed the issue and we had no complaints and a lovely nights stay.

Good location and a very interesting property. Good sized room and bathroom. Fair to good value. With some better upkeep and gardening this venue could be something really special.
Hearing staff in the kitchen loudly talking - a sample snippet was “eugh it’s got juice in it - that’s disgusting” is perhaps not ideal to hear when eating breakfast.

On the Booking.com website it stated the restaurant would be open during our stay, however, we were informed by the Mill that it was closed. Tony very kindly recommended an excellent pub about 3 miles away Ye Old Poppe Inn which we very much enjoyed. The grounds are stunning and it was wonderful to meet George, the peacock who was very tame and enjoyed posing for the camera!
No aircon in the room but luckily the weather was cooler than of late

Very picturesque location, lovely staff and owner. Great food which was good value too.
Rooms are dated - needs a little tlc.
