The hotel staff were all friendly and welcoming. It is superbly located for the railway station and the cricket ground which ways my reason for the stay. It is also just a short walk to the town centre. The room and bathroom was clean though not spotless.
It's a shame the ground floor rooms have little or no daylight which can can give the rooms a claustrophobic feel to them.

Very central friendly staff who were very helpful.The plough pub opposite was great and I was recommended a good Indian restaurant by the staff which was delicious.

It was ideally situated for our needs while in Taunton.
Car parking facilities would have been better, but nothing they can do about that and we were made aware of nearby parking. A restaurant/bar at the hotel would also have been good.
