Overall this was a good stay, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

For me this hotel was good value, it was quiet from my room, clean as i can remember and staff friendly, location was good for me to. Bonus was the kitchen room.

I had a single bed, so a larger bed would be better. My room location was a bit longer to get to.

A clean, comfortable and conventent place to stay.

Great location very near the railway station. Very little noise from outside, despite being on the main road. Very attentive and friendly staff.

No toiletries shelf in bathroom.

Excellent value for money in a central location, close to the train station. Walking distance to Taunton town centre, local parks, the river, cafes and shops. I can’t fault this hotel, the third year we’ve stayed here. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, always smiling, offering to carry heavy bags up the stairs, really lovely people. We were greeted with smiles everyday by the front of house staff and the cleaners. A happy working atmosphere.The room was spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable with crisp cotton sheets and comfy pillows. Lots of towels and a clean bathroom with a good shower. The fridge was useful for storing snacks etc and the tv was fine. We stayed in a family room overlooking the street with a double and single bed, and a comfy sofa.

Very hard to fault. The first and second floor have no lift so not suitable for disabled.

Good clean quiet box room on the top floor. Good Shower. Good fan provided.

Exceptional

Great experience from start to finish. Very friendly staff on reception speedy and professional. Clean and tidy room with tea and coffee , clean white towels and a very comfortable bed. Good choice of TV channels if needed.

Very small point was the slow wifi connection.

Perfect place to stay in Taunton

The lady that checked us in was lovely. So welcoming, friendly and helpful. Gave us some great local information. The room was nice, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Good size. Great location as we were going to a concert at the cricket ground but is so central with pubs and places to eat nearby and near the train station too. Great price, fantastic value for money. We will definitely be back.

lovely staff but very basic facilities for price for one night

very helpful staff

poor Wi-Fi signal and baby cot wasn’t fit for purpose and uncomfortable for my son, late night staff added extra duvet for comfort but didn’t really make a difference and son ended up sleeping in bed with myself and my partner

Staff were lovely, flexible, helpful, smiley. The room was a good size and good price for the location.

The accommodation was basic. It was ok, I don't really have any complaints but it just could have been a lot nicer.I think the place is in process of being refurbished. It needs it. There probably needs to be a lift installed as well, the layout is quite janky

how thin the walls were. building work began in the room next door at 7am. we had a rude awakening from a tradesperson sanding the other side of our wall. spoke to receptionist who seemed confused as to why we were complaining

Dont Ever Stay Here

The staff were great. the hotel horrendous

This is not somewhere a business or visitor/ holiday person should ever use. This appears to be a hotel for either homeless, or government usages. Constant noise from other visitors until past two in the morning and the same from before 6am. It felt unsafe and there was even a notice on reception threatening anyone who causes trouble that a security company would be called. I have never seen this in an Hotel before and I stay in hotels around the UK most weeks. the worst place I can ever remember staying in. Even speaking to local people in Taunton during the evening and saying where we were staying resulted in laughs and comments like, why on earth are you staying there?? I have to say that the lady on reception was lovely. she is totally wasted in this establishment.
