Nicely decorated, Lovely breakfast. Quiet and interesting location

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the food was excellent and the dog was warmly welcomed too! Our bedroom was spacious, comfortable and quiet. And Montacute is a really pretty village with plenty of good walks close by for the dog. There are also 4 National Trust properties within a 20 min drive.
Parking at the back of the pub is limited ( and the pub is very popular), but it wasn't difficult to find on street parking.

The Location was perfect..
The cleanliness could of been a lot better - especially the the Shower head (room 2)

"Location beautiful with lots of pretty walks around the surrounding pastures. Breakfast was plentifully and staff lovely and friendly. Lovely old pub. Would definitely stay again"
