Location was quiet and peaceful.
Swimming pool was a real treat (and still open in September).
Friendly helpful owners who ran the hotel.
Good home-cooked dinners.
Traditional furnishing, giving an alpine lodge feel.

Bathroom was a little dated.
Breakfast was rather bread heavy for me.

Wonderful stay in this family run property where everything was done with a smile. Service excellent, room very comfortable, evening meals outstanding - full of flavour (sautéed green beans in tomato sauce was exceptional) and much of the produce home grown and prepared by the owners, complemented with local wines. The whole family pulled together to offer an incredible service rich experience.

Loved the comfortable bed, welcoming family, great food, superb swimming pool, Lola the dog, chickens, horses and donkey.
The room was quite small although the bathroom was great. Also there was no kettle or mugs in the room.

The hosts were lovely and the meal was very good.
We were in the two bed cottage on a hot night with little breeze and without aircon it would benefit from a fan.
