This is a small to medium sized modern hotel sitting in its own grounds in a quiet village. We had a very pleasant welcome from the staff and were taken to our room which was absolutely huge with kitchen area, sitting area and huge bed. The place was spotlessly clean and everything worked in the room and hotel in general. The breakfast next day was superb and served in the large dining room. I have to especially praise the staff in this hotel as they were so pleasant at all times both for check in and out plus the dining room. The evening meal was nothing short of superb from start to finish as was the choice of wines, what a plus point for this business. Finally, the grounds at the rear of the hotel are beautifully kept and are bordered by the lake with the most stunning views, what a fantastic bonus and worth the visit just for this.
It was all we could want.

excellent choice after a day of boating coming from Amsterdam, superior views, terrace and restaurant. Most friendly staff seen in a while. Rooms very spacious, basic but good. Breakfast very good. Will book again, because this area is excellent for boating, and WaterGeus is an excellent choice.
