The guesthouse is located high up in the mountains, in a wild setting. Just the day before I arrived, I had seen on the news that a bear had been spotted in Baia Mare, only 2 km away from the guesthouse in a mountainous area. The guesthouse has a very large free parking lot and its own restaurant with reasonable prices and good food. Breakfast was simple.
As with many guesthouses/hotels, the walls and doors are very thin, so this could be an issue for light sleepers.

I've liked the hospitality of the staff and also the food that they cooked for us. Also, the hotel is located in a quiet area, near the forest. The breakfast was freshly cooked and they provided tea and coffee.
