The bedroom was nice, spacious. Air conditioning worked really well and the room was well soundproofed for outside noise. It is very quiet, unless you are unlucky to have people in the room above making noise moving things around when you sleep.
The hot tub was perfect! Swimming pool was very nice.
All very clean.
Location was excellent too, just a few steps from the beach. There was a supermarket nearby, and some nice restaurants and an amusement park for children. About 15 minutes by car from the centre of Cagliari and about 20 min max to the airport.
Staff was always very nice and kind and helpful. Impeccable service.
My child loved it all and is already asking to come back again.
Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. Not much variety in terms of yogurt or cereals, and vegetables (only cherry tomatoes and grated carrots). Eggs were only scrambled. No bananas. Would have been good to have some more variety of cheese too. A lot of the cakes and pastries tasted like they were ready made, not made at the hotel.
No hair conditioner, only shampoo and a bar soap. So maybe bring your own toiletries, if you care about this stuff.
So it is just the details that let the experience down a bit, but overall it was all very positive and I would stay again and recommend the hotel to anyone considering Poetto beach.
