Great location for exploring the area with wonderful views across the valley. Good breakfast, comfortable bed in a quiet peaceful place. Lovely renovation of the property with a great space in the dining area by the fire on a settee.
A little tight on parking when all the guests are there.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything needed. Excellent breakfast.
Plug sockets difficult to access, essential for charging, hairdryer etc. Parking challenging. Road was a tad too exciting a drive especially at night.

best thing was the view from our breakfast table - gorgeous landscape and lots of trains shuttling along the line below the property
shower screen leaked water over floor
Water drained very slowly after a bath or shower
the bathroom particularly needed a bit of routine maintenance - water stains down the paintwork needed re painting etc
only one cup in the room for tea/coffee making
