I very much enjoyed my stay - particularly as the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has an interesting layout, and I imagine is lovely and cool in the hot season due to its design. It was a great hotel to be able to sit quietly and converse with my colleagues or visitors in the open space. The garden is also beautiful. I hope that I will be able to stay again.
The bathrooms could do with an upgrade, although they work.

Lovely garden and seating area, including a small swimming pool. It was a pleasant space to relax during the hot Lilongwe evenings
This is one of the most expensive lodges I have stayed in Malawi, yet services were not what you would normally expect for the price. My room upon arrival was infested with mosquitoes and I had to spray it myself, there was no cold water from the bathroom sink (only burning hot water), plugs did not work, no bottle of water or other simple amenities in the room. Breakfast was nice, but it took an unjustified amount of time to prepare. It is a pity because the lodge is nice, but not good value for money
