A beautiful pool, the setting, the tagines (delicious!), the fact it offers an exclusive experience of pure calm. A modern oasis, great for families, couples… the owners are very friendly and helpful.
Confirmation on arrival about what our booking included meal wise (there are 2 and 3 courses for dinner, and it is unclear what you could or could not have at breakfast). It’s assumed you know. We were half board. Perhaps lost in translation as our French isn’t great!

The property is lovely, clean with well maintained gardens and pool. Breakfast was always delicious, and the staff extremely friendly and helpful.
The owners are a delightful couple.
Sadly there was building work going on during our stay, both on the property next door and on the roof of the villa, so it wasn't as peaceful as we had hoped. They finished mid afternoon, so it wasn't too bad.
We misunderstood (as did another couple) and thought that there was a free shuttle into Marrakech each day. There is a shuttle, but it is not free. The property is not too far out, but it is a taxi drive each way, and there is not anything to see near the property if you are walking. Both the taxis we had were rather dirty inside, but of course that is no reflection on Villa Jardin D'Isa. There is nothing to do in the vicinity on foot, but we were happy to lounge around and read and had a trip out to Ouarzazate, Ait Ben Hadou and one of the film studios, booked through a different company and in a very comfortable SUV, plus two taxi trips into Marrakech.
Only other thing was portion size at dinner - my husband is an ex rugby player and still eats as if he is playing full back, but it was fine for me.

I stayed at Villa Jardins on my own and absolutely loved the intimate, home-like atmosphere. Everything was very clean and well maintained, the rooms are spacious and the swimming pool is beautiful. The Hamam and all spa facilities are amazing The breakfast and dinner were delicious and prepared with great care. What really made the stay special was the incredibly kind and attentive staff, everyone truly goes out of their way to think along with you and make you feel welcome. A wonderful place where you immediately feel at ease and I would definitely love to return.
I stayed in December which is a colder month and the shower water in my room did not get very warm, only lukewarm. I understood from the next guest staying in the same room that this seems to be a general situation rather than something specific to one room. It would be great if this could be improved in the future, especially for guests visiting during cooler periods. The outdoor pool is also not heated, so swimming was not really possible in winter.
