It’s very close to Centraal station. It was priced about right for what you get for the money and in comparison ton other property nearby. If you want a 5 star experience, look elsewhere, but if you need a comfortable bed for the night on Damrak with hot running water and a comfortable bed, it’ll do.
It’s being renovated and it is what it is - a small hotel with a couple of rooms for people like me who just want to be close to the centre and need a bed for the night.

Great place to stay, right in the middle of all the action. Lots of places to eat & drink both sides of the hotel.
The room was just what we wanted, it was spacious enough for 6 people for 3 nights.
We loved that our room faced on to the main street & we had large windows to open and look out from.
We had a room on the first floor with a en-suite bathroom. It looked recently renovated and there were further renovations going on around us but we were not disturbed too early.
The beds were really comfy and we all had power points for charging overnight etc. We were very thankful that we had a large fan placed in the room before arrival as it would have been a little warm, this was a great touch that we were very thankful for.
Reception were great throughout our stay, they also loaned us a hairdryer on arrival as requested.

Perfect location, right in the center of amsterdam. It was clean and the bed was confortable.
The room was right next to the staircase so I could hear everyone arriving or leaving the hostel.
There was also construction work starting at 7.30am during my stay.
