The location was great! Close to the wonderful Gio's (10% off bill as staying at the Charlesworth), Indian Ocean restaurant, Nisa, bus stops & down the hill to beach front/shops. Great high view of the beach from across the road & short street.
We had a triple room which was spacious enough for the two of us. Towels were replaced once during our 3 night stay. Shower worked great. Plentiful tea bags, coffee, sugar, milk. Biscuits & hot chocolate sachets replenished daily. TV, fan, hairdryer, & toiletries in room. Beds & pillows comfy, slept well. Room was bright with 3 windows. Iron & ironing board outside room on the landing.
WiFi worked well.
Owners polite & helpful.
The interior decor & furniture looked tired & dated and in need of some TLC & modernising. Bathroom was very small & the door wouldn't close properly so we had to wedge a book underneath which did the trick.

Wendy & Bryan so helpful and so friendly. Home from home, facilities basic and it needs a little TLC here and there but good price for a family break. Just needed a bed for a few nights near the beach so perfect for us. The hill down is a little challenging if you have mobility issues but the hotel is a good price for what you get. Loads of eating places in town just a short 8 min walk. Clean and comfortable what more do you need.

The owners and staff members were friendly and approachable.
The property is in a very old condition. It does not feel like a hotel standard. A little fresh refurbishment of bathroom and rooms, with more of a light breeze of colours on the walls and towels would add it a nicer look and more comfortable feel.
Also if anyone is staying downstairs need to be okay with hearing guests coming and leaving at reception, as well as existing walking around, can be noisy.
