I enjoyed my stay at Castle Lodge. It was close to everything and I was easily able to walk to the city center, and it was also easy to drive into Killarney Park. The traffic can get heavy at certain times in the area, but I was traveling at peak season. There is parking on the premises but it is first come first serve. For some reason a small tour van was in the parking and seemed to cause havoc at time on the parking situation as he would take up several spaces a time, so maybe it wouldn't be bad at any other time. My room was spacious and the bed was ok. The bathroom was a nice size and shower was great. The room could get warm during the day, but as long as you are ok to open the windows at night it cools down.

Great location, staff were great, good breakfast
You couldn’t leave the toilet door open as it is on a spring. No windows in the toilet/bathroom and it really smelt. The towels were in need of replacing
