Très bon séjour

La piscine couverte un peu petite mais c’est sympa quand il fait pas beau . Dommage que le sauna et le hammam soit hors service

Les voisins du dessus étaient très bruyants et déplaçaient les meubles sans cesse

Besoin de rénovation

L' emplacement et la sympathie du personnel

Les équipements sont médiocres : la piscine est vraiment très très petite, la salle de sport est nulle et il n'y a pas de sauna ( il a pris feu) et le hammam est en rénovation. Les locaux sont usés et manquent de rénovation

A wonderful trip all in all, right in the heart of St Martin de Ré - and the staff were lovely :)

What a fantastic location! Our room was spacious with a lovely outdoor terrace and great amenities in the kitchen

The pool was a little disappointing - not really for sunbathing or proper swimming

Good

The pool was good for our kids, if a bit smaller than I expected. But overall the room we were given wasn't what I had booked, the hotel obligingly moved us to a new room but overall the hotel was as clean or comfy as I would've expected.

While it was close to town it was stuck down a a side street and the front door was misleading and awkward to find when we got to the town. The room wasn't that clean for us to use when we checked in and we had to make the beds as well which was a bit odd.

Great location for exploring ile de re

Location is great, quiet and tucked away but only a short walk to the shops and the harbour. Friendly staff. Great to have a pool that is half in, half outside, so great whether it is sunny or raining. The room was warm and had everything we needed. I hadn't realised I could book bikes there, but might do that next time.

There were 3 of us (all adult size) and our appartment was just about big enough. There wouldnt be enough living space to relax if there had been 4 of us, as there is only one sofa. Its lovely to have a balcony but it is only big enough for 2 to comfortably sit. There was only a double and a sofa bed, which didn't work that well for our group, twin beds plus sofa would have been better, but i hadnt specified when i booked.

Beautiful location, lovely pool, secure & pretty complex.

Location is wonderful - so near to the port & in its own little garden. Pool is great with inside and outside combination & lovely sauna & steam room. We booked a ground floor room with terrace & it was lovely with table, sun shade, sun bed & clothes drying rack. Laundry was useful too (5 euros for washer, 3 for dryer). Parking was brilliant and we always got a space fine even though busy. Kitchen was well equipped despite being on the small side although there is no oven. But there is a dishwasher & they give you a cleaning pack with 5 tablets in for it. We also loved that you can borrow games from reception including boules & table tennis bats for the tables outside.

The shower & bath tiles could do with a deeper clean as they typically get a little mouldy in between the tiles which doesn’t look so good. I managed to clean better with a scrub myself. They could do with more attention. Apart from that things were generally clean. They also had an issue with the fire alarm on the last night going off at 11pm and 5am. Seemed like a fault (or perhaps someone smoking??) we couldn’t understand what the person said in French before people went back in. But we are sure it’s a one off. It didn’t happen the other 6 days/ nights.

Nice enough place, but I resent being expected to make my own bed in a hotel.

The hotel was well located, a short walk into town and in a lovely setting. However, I wasn't best pleased to have paid up front with booking.com "inclusive of all taxes" to find that on my arrival, I was told it was obligatory to pay the local tourism tax direct to the hotel. This felt like a shakedown. When we got to our apartment, I was pretty annoyed to find that the staff hadn't even bothered to make our beds - instead, we were left a plastic pack of sheets on top of each mattress. For well over a hundred Euros a night, I don't expect to have to spend twenty minutes making the beds. Other than that, it was good. There was a decent pool and a little gym. The parking wasn't far and they even provided hand carts to haul your bags to the rooms.

The rooms were a little dated and faded, but not awful. The kitchens were pretty basic, but basically okay.

Great location with parking.

Pool was ok, but could have been much better with more space for sun beds. And sun beds could have been provided rather than adjustable chairs. Great location and friendly staff.

We had a small studio apartment with a very small kitchen area which was fine for a couple of nights but nit suitable if you were going to stay for a week and do your own cooking at night etc. Not allowed to drop bags of at reception, instead have to drive to car park and then wheel your luggage through the grounds to reception to check in.

A very pleasant stay but apartments are rather shabby.

The location - within a short walk to the lovely town of St Martin. Comfortable bed. Dog friendly. Helpful receptionist. Car Park.

Shabby and in need of decorating. The only decorated area was the reception hall. Unpleasant smell in apartment on arrival & not very clean floors.

Very pleasant place to stay in touristy St Martin de Re

Spacious light and airy room in quiet location, with balcony. Close to town centre. Very convenient for those with a car. Adequately equipped kitchen area. Useful items for sale in reception. Friendly staff.

Better if croisant etc had been available earlier than 9am. Shower / bath area could be modernised. Underfoot surface potentially slippery. Shortage of shaded seating and tables outside despite space available. We changed our dates and then kept getting demands for payment for the earlier period which we had changed long before the expiry of the free cancellation period . More local info in the room or reception area.

Good Location, All amenities within easy access

It was in a good location with large grounds and secure parking. Veronika was the only member of staff we saw and she was very friendly and helpful.. The water in the shower was a nice heat. Kitchen are was well equipped.

The original room we booked was too cramped and claustrophobic, though Veronika kindly changed this for us. On booking I requested two pillows each, these were not provided and on asking for these I was given one pillow ( minus pillowcase) and a lounge cushion was left in the room as the second substitute! Towels are small and no fresh ones provided during your stay and there are no extra ones available to use if you want to swim. Though the grounds are lovely nothing seems to be done to clear away dog mess. Not very pleasant ! The rooms and back areas are tired and in need of fresh painting and decorating.

Just acceptable, mainly because of the location, not the apartment.

Courtyard style location of apartments, the availability of a (small) pool, the availability of onsite parking. The central location of the whole property in the town is the key feature of this property.

The outlook of the apartment was very poor, as it looked out onto the street, we had to keep the shutters closed all day for privacy. The lighting on pathways in the courtyard is VERY poor at night, an accident waiting to happen! The external signposting to the Palais des Gouverneurs is very poor so the property is difficult to find in the town.

Large two-bathroom apartment in a good location, but too expensive

The apartment was large, the kitchen was well-equipped, and having two bathrooms a plus.

There was no privacy for the terrace - just a few bushes and no enclosure, so that wasn't good given that we had dogs with us. There was no cleaning service unless we paid 50 euros each time even though we booked for a week. One roll of toilet paper was offered, then one has to buy extra. No paper towels for the kitchen. The fee for three well-behaved dogs was an extra 250 euros on top of the 1665 euros for the week's rental. There was often no parking available inside the guarded lot.

Location is really great allowing to go to the main restaurant and shops walking Free parking on spot The apartment is very well equipped (includes, for example, an expresso machine) The size of the apartment was nice (included, for example, 2 bathrooms)

Common interior areas could be much better, they are neglected and need some work (renovation and decoration wise) We asked for a baby chair and it was provided incredibly dirty Mattresses, pillows and sheets are not very comfortable and not good quality The kitchen doesn't have an extractor
