Room was clean, bed was comfortable and the breakfast was great!
the staff was very helpful as I arrived earlier than anticipated yet they still gave me the room.
the location is great - right next to the train station and a big mall.

We were looking for accommodation in Hr. Kralove, ended up price- and location-wise at this hotel. It is more like a hotel bunker from the 1970's, the admin desk was super nice and supportive any time, one of the few plus.
Well, the room floors were not even, one could feel every littler bumper or depression in the floor, secondly, seems there was still some foil underneath, so any step was accompanied by crackling noises.
The breakfast was clean, also here the staff was very kind, nevertheless the breakfast was simply disappointing.

First let's get this out of the way: this hotel is dated—so much so that I'd fondly label it as quaint in its own way. That being said, you can do a lot worse in HK for a lot more money. At Černigov, they at least seem to be aware that they're not the most modern property, and they make up for its shortcomings in service and overall value.
The location is unbeatable if you have an early morning train, like I did. The staff was lovely across the board. The breakfast was solid and the experience as a whole was absolutely fine.
Yes, the lifts double as time machines that transport you straight into the 1970s, but hey – that's what makes this a memorable experience in a good way. I'd stay here again.
Outdated building aside, there are small details that affect the experience – one of the bulbs in my room was flickering (reported to front desk at checkout), the bathroom lighting is perhaps too harsh and cold. In general, the building is definitely past its prime... With that in mind, I've stayed at HK hotels that asked more money for less value, so Černigov comes out ahead.
